Quick poll on bday gift ideas?

Ok, my boyfriend's 31st bday is coming up and I already got the CD he said he wanted. Thing is, I want to get him something else.

So I narrowed it down to these three things and I need help deciding which one to go for.

1. First season of LOST (his fave show, which he has mentioned he was thinking of buying)
2. 50$ gift card to Chevron since he commutes to work everyday and constantly complains about his car eating gas.
3. Dinner at an expensive Japanese restuarant which he has said he wanted to try but can't afford the 25$+ plates.

So, earn a couple points by telling me which one you would choose.

Try to get the LOST dvd for a great price on eBay so you can buy that and take him to dinner at the restaurant. If you have to pick one or the other, go with dinner....b-days are about going out and having fun!
